Fundraising & Project Management provides professional funding advice in close collaboration with funding advisors at the departments and administrative project management of larger research projects, especially collaborative EU projects.

Our core tasks are:

Fundraising

• We support researchers' project proposals by helping to identify the right funding source and work with researchers to turn project ideas into fundable research applications. AAU's research support strategy forms the basis for our areas of expertise.
• We produce tools and templates for use in application processes.
• We hold courses, webinars, and information meetings targeted at the university's researchers and fundraisers.
• We are a strategic partner for the faculties at AAU in providing support for AAU's fundraising, partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
• We collaborate with research leaders to develop research strategies based on well-founded insights and knowledge about funding bodies.

Project Management

• We offer extensive experience in professional administrative project management of larger research projects, especially collaborative Horizon Europe projects – more than 45 projects since the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
• We tailor our support to the needs of each individual project.
